    The medium of instruction in the school is English. Our Early Childhood programme features certified Early Childhood specialists, purpose-built Early Childhood classrooms with child-scale facilities and furniture, and a rich array of instructional materials, providing a safe, stimulating environment for exploration and discovery.

    The successful candidate will teach our Early Childhood One class (3-4 year olds) and support the programme in other areas of the school, as deemed necessary by the Elementary Principal. This position is an excellent opportunity to work in an international environment and gain experience with the International Baccalaureate programmes. We offer a one year contract commencing August 2014.

    Requirements:
    – Interest in child development and inquiry-based learning
    – Degree or certificate in a teacher preparation programme
    – Teaching experience, including experience of teaching very young learners
    – Strong IT skills and knowledge (Windows 7, Office 2010, Google Apps) with experience integrating IT in the classroom
    – Commitment to self-improvement and reflective practice
    – Commitment to the BIS Standards of Professional Practice
